blah blah blah

Sometime you feel like you are in a blah blah blah season of life.

What is a blah blah blah season you may be asking. Hee hee, I could leave this post right here at this point and ask you all to put your thoughts up on the comment section og blogger.

I think its that time frame when everything seems to be same same same. Then you suddently realize its 8 days to Christmas and you are living in denial because you still havnt bought any presents or a leg of lamb or mint jelly or even put up the Christmas tree. Aaaaarg...... now that changes life from blah blah blah to panic.

Im sure no one else out there is in a blah state and you have done and wrapped those gifts, bought or baked a Christmas cake and even hung up Christmas lights and tinsel.

Christmas is not about how expensive the gifts are but about Jesus and people around us. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and love your neighbour (those around you) as you love yourself. Its a matter of the heart.

So im moving out of blah blah blah and getting into gear for Christmas. Make it memorable.

Sometimes I look at my blog page and wonder what profound things I can muster up to write and today is one of those times and then I remember that its just good to chat.

So today I am just chatting to you. How are you? What you been up to? Anything interesting to share? let me hear all about it.

in the meantime let me remind you that this Tuesday 8th November 7for7.30pm is Womens Forum Meeting Yay! I will get to see some of you. We meet once a month on a Tuesday. We alternate. One month its a morning meeting and the following month a evening meeting. where: Word of Life Church, main road, Fish Hoek. (which is above Kostas Greek eatery) I will be ministring the Word after a time of worship and then there will be personal ministry. We do not charge for these meetings but rather take up a offering for the ministry.

It will be great if you can come.

Good Day and a Good season to Celebrate.

Yay, its the 1st of November, How fabulous is that. Nearly the end of 2011 but still time to enjoy this time frame of expectation. Look back at this year as it passes quickly now and call to rememberance some of the hopes and dreams you had as you set out in the early days of 2011. Some of the desires and dreams would have come to pass others came into view but maybe didnt materialise as yet, thats ok, because we still have some weeks in 2011 and alot of years ahead of us still. Dont pack those dreams and desires away too quickly but rather put them up on your new calender for this coming year. We live life too fast and want it all in view now, but God knows exactly what He is doing with our lives and delayed gratification is not a bad thing. Life is not a sprint, but rather a journey. Stop and smell the roses and appreciate the view. Take it a day at a time, loving God, loving your family and friends. Appreciate one another, give honor to those around you, do acts of kindness and show the love of God to strangers and watch your whole life light up with grace and mercy. So celebrate November and know that the best is yet to come. Have a beautiful day. Your life is beautiful and your dance for the King is breath taking.

Peace in the Storm.

Good morning everyone. Trust youve had a goodnights rest.  Some people can only sleep in a dark room with total silence and even the ticking of a clock will keep them awake while others can put a comfy pillow behind their head in a full room of people talking and children playing and sleep well.

We are all so different. Some poeple lie awake when theyre worried and others find refuge in sleep if theyre feeling depressed.

I love Ps 46 its such an encouraging psalm in times of pressure.

Ps 46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled though the mountains shake with its swelling. There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city og God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved. God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. (v1 to 5)

and finishes in versus 10 and 11 with: Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth! The lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.

So pwerful a promise. Though there are many battles on everyside and storms rage God says BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.

He is saying I am with you and I will never leave you nor fail you. I will keep you in perfect peace. Trust Me I am God and there is no other besides Me.

He loves us totally and watches over us with singing.

Dont allow the negetaive circumstances to dictate to your life allow God to lead you, keep you, guide you, provide for you, hold you, comfort you, love you. You are His and He cares always.

May the God of peace surround you this weekend and may you rejoice in your inheretance in God.

Love one another.

Hello friends,

We live in times of great contrasts.....there are wars and rumours of wars, famine, earthquakes, floods and financial delema and yet we also see breakthrough in technology and medicine and people celebrating life daily, families go on holidays, parents celebrate their childrens achievements and life continues and there is even an exceleration of life and hope for the future. How is this possible one might ask.
Its possible because God is our Father and He has such excellent plans for us His people. He never slumbers or sleeps and He never grows weary. He as a Father watches over the affairs of His household.
the Word of God encourages us to love one another and that by this all  will know that we are His disciples.

We love one another by respecting each other and honoring one another. making room for each others opinions and dreams, listening to each other with full attention, encouraging the best to come forth in one anothers lives.

1 Corinthians 13 says If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels  but have not love I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If i have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains but I have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames but have not love I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easliy angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Wow! such a awesome declaration of what love is. Each of us as we read that piece probably feel we fall short of what it is to truelly love one another......But take courage.... Jesus Christ is love. He layed down His life for us when we were sinners and He took our sin nature to the cross with Him and that old nature was nailed to that cross with Him.  We have been resurrected with Him with a new nature. The nature of Christ .and we have love and we can walk in the new nature because we have been given a new nature. So first of all we silence the voice of the accuser that tells us day and night that we are  no bodies and  failures and we repent before our heavenly Father that we have believed the lie and tried to be good people and we are failing in it because we are nullifying the work that Christ has already done for us, then we thank the Father that we are the children of God and that we have a new nature and we begin to walk in the fullness of our new nature in Christ. Without Him we are nothing But through Him we can do all things

As we walk in the love of God we begin to take on His identity and the old nature and false identity will move off the throne of our lives and the King takes His rightful place and the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts and lives. We can walk in love because He is love. We can celebrate with each others dreams because our Father put those dreams in our hearts. We can expect a good future because His plan is to prosper His children and not to harm them to give us a hope and a future. We can expect the best in all circumstances because He is not the Father of calamity. Woo Hoo!

So dear friends, let us love the Lord  our Godwith all of our hearts and let us love and encourage one another more and more even as the day may seem dark in the earth, Our God reigns and His plan is coming into focus swiftly and the kingdoms of the world will become the kingdom of our God and He shall reign for ever and ever.

I am cheering you on. You are the apple of your Fathers eye. He rejoices over you with singing.
His plan for you will never falter nor will He cut short on what He has promised you.

Keep yourself in Gods loving presence and thank Him for His unfailing love.

Father, thank You for Your love that saved us from ourselves and from the work of the evil one. Keep us close to Your heart Father that we may know Your love more and more, forgive us for trying to live in our own strength, we resign from our self efforts and accept Your nature. We thank You now that the struggle is not ours and we accept Your perfect love that carsts out all fear. We celebrate walking in Your love  and in your ways in Jesus name. Amen.

New week.

Good morning all you fabulous people out there. Its a new week and a new oppertunity to bless the King.

If last week wasnt that great, forget it and put it behind you. You have a new start and a new oppertunity to live this week with passion.

Passion is that thing that excites your heart and keeps you hoping for more. Some have passion for a golf ball as surfers have passion for a good wave. My passion is to see lives transformed from mediocrity to life lived LARGE.... filled with hope and strength, love and grace. You  may be thinking thats great but how is it possible in this world of stress and pressure. It is possible> its about a life in Jesus. He will take your life and turn it around. Call out to Him and let Him take your circumstances, your pain and dissapoinments as well as those dreams that seem so delayed and watch Him transform it all. Trust Him because He is trust worthy. He is a miracle working God.

Coming out of hybernation.

Hello one and all. So sorry that I have not written in such a long while.
Where has 2011 gone to?  Into the distant past would probably be the answer many would give.

Yes its only weeks away before 2011 is over But let us not rush off into 2012 yet, we still have time to end this year well. There is nothing worse than wishing life away.

Maybe it would be good to reflect over the past 12months and just see what all has taken place and the many things we can be grateful for as well as the laughs we have had in this season.

The title of this post is 'Coming out of hybernation' now does that mean I have been in a deep sleep? no let me assure you, definately not but when you are working hard on one area other areas sometimes suffer, that in my case being my blog writting.  Sorry guys. I will try be more diligent.

Lionel and I have had a full year of many great things and the hand of God has been amazing upon our lives and the lives of our family and the congregation.  We now have 4 beautiful grand daughters the oldest being 7yrs and the youngest one nearly 4 months, how fabulous is that. This has also been the year of Gods grace as Lionel had a silent heart attack and God brought him through and he is doing very well now.
We realy appreciate life when that life is under threat.
I have done 2 trips to Ireland this year and have seen Gods hand move amazingly in many lives and the Holy Spirit has been poured out in so many places. I love South Africa and I love Ireland.  I am so aware that the nations are poised for the reviving breathe of God and my hearts cry is for the supernatural working of God in and through the people of God to be evident in everyday life.
Dont cut short now....  pressure must not push you back but rather press you more into Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

So what all have you encountered this year? pressure and bruising?maybe but I am sure also the goodness of God. Dont listen to the doubt peddlars and the negative report of the newspapers but rather believe the Lords report. He has begun a good work in us and He will take us through into the place of living in His glory. We are not objects of His wrath, we are the apple of His eye, His beloved bride as we make ourselves ready. 2011 is the year of establishment and thats why its been tough because God is establishing us in the mature anointing so that we will know His ways in 2012 as we come into His governmental rule.

Do not faint and do not pull back, the best is yet to come and the Kingdom is at hand. We who were not a people have become a people and we who felt like orphans are His sons ans daughters. Walk in His fullness. take hold of this season. Live in the present furture of God. You will increase in Glory because He has promised you all things pertaining to life and life in abundance. Sing a new song. Shout aloud. Our God reigns in all the earth. Blessings on you all.

Chatter.

Good morning one and all.  Here we are one third into June already.  How crazy is that!

How time has flown. it seems like just the other day we were all debating about the soccer world cup and now its in the distant past. The worl cup was not just about soccer though, it was a rebranding of the nation.
For anyone who doesnt know there were some very negative statements put out there about our nation to try and persuade people not to come to South Africa for the soccer world cup. The people that did come,  were told that they need to be very vigilent with their possessions and need to get private security as its not a safe place but after the visitors arriving here they found out that this was not true and even sent messages back to their homes letting family and friends know its a safe and beautiful place.

The fan walk in Cape Town was certainly a highlight and I heard a news reporter on one of our local radio programmes sharing that a visitor had said this was by far the best world cup he had ever been to and the people on the fan walk were not only friendly but he had been invited into the homes of Capetonians for meals and he was impressed that we have trained up our children in the word of God and pray over our meals. How fabulous is that!

Let your light so shine that it will make a way for those around you to find the Way of Life.

Be blessed as the weekend unfolds and know Christ in you is the hope of glory.
As Graham Cooke says (a british prophet living in the States) God loves you whether you change or not. He loves you full stop.

THE DAY OF HIS VISITATION.

Hello all my Blog followers.  Trust you are well. Im sure you are wrapping up warmer as the weather gets cooler and cooler. Yes, it looks like winter has arrived whether we are ready or not.  I sometimes want to be in denial and try get by in summer clothing but it is short lived and I dive back into my wardrobe for something more suitable.
As the season changes so we too adjust to the new season and before long all the past seasons outfits will be packed away until summer comes around once again.
In the Spirit we also have to adjust our lives according to the Spirit. We need to be led by the Spirit and not the lusts of the flesh. The flesh wants to respond to the things of easy gratification and instant answers but the way of the Spirit is to beable to deny the carnal dictates and to follow after the leading of the HolySpirit. The Holy Spirit leads us into truth and He dirrects us to the will of the Father therefore anything less than truth is not of the Spirit but of the carnal nature.
This is a day of visitation and the time of the Supernatural workings of our God. He who began a good work in us will complete that work in us as we allow the Holy Spirit access to our lives.
So let us make ourselves ready and invite the Holy Spirit to teach us the ways of the Spirit.
The word of God says in Jeremiah, Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things. How awesome is that. As we call out for the visitation of God, He promises to show us things that we have not known up until now. Thats the very Father coming to us His children and opening His ways to us in power and might. The Word of God also says, we have not because we do not ask and if we ask the Father anything in Jesus name He will give it to us. Again this is awesome. Do you see it..... We are designed and purposed for the Father to visit us and to speak to us and to show us those things that He wants to reveal to us His children. We are not walking in the dark. We are children of the Light and He reveals to us the ways of truth therefore no man can decieve us as we call unto the Father.
Let us continue to seek the Father and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into truth. No man comes to the Father other than through the Son Jesus Christ. Father, Son and Holy Spirit bear witness with your spirit that you are saved from sin, forgiven,washed in the blood, filled with the Spirit, equipped and called for a destiny and sure future. Dont get distracted. Dont let the enemy shipwreck you. Hold fast to your calling. Christ in you is the hope of Glory. This is a day of His visitation may your response be Yes Lord!

I trust that you are wrapped in the love of the Father today as you read this knowing that your future is in His hands and that the love of God will never leave you. He who began that good work in you will complete it untill the day of Jesus Christ.

SHIFT.

Hello all you wonderful people. Some of you must think I have dropped of the planet as I havnt blogged for a loooong time. Sorry. It is not easy writting a whole article on my Blackberry and Im so blessed as my wonderful generous huband has given me a laptop and so I am hoping it will get better.
Today I want to talk about shift. Shift is very different to change. Change is what happens when we decide that we no longer want to live a particular way so we embark on a new life style of living by different rules and attitudes as we adjust our learnt ot taught patterns. This is not neccesarily bad but if we are not very disciplined before we know it we can slip back or get frustrated and throw in the towel. On the other hand its good to strive for change as we are not to allow life to shape us as we are called to be self controlled and live by the fruits of the Spirit and not entertain the lusts of the flesh.
most people think the lusts of the flesh are sexual sins but the lusts of the flesh are all those things that are at war with our God nature.
Shift comes from God and as we surrender our lives we will arise to life in Christ. Let us not cry out for change for change in itself comes around again and again in cycles but lets rather call out to God for Him to shift us into our destiny in Him. This is the season of God shifting his people into position to be effective in our lives and call in God. Its the goodness and kindess of God to bring us into our inheritence and release us to walk into those plans and purposes He has ordained for His children.
I want to encourage you to call out to God to shift you into His new season as we are entering into an end time anointing and the supernatural works of our God..  You will be so excited as you realize that you are on time with our God and its his good pleasure to position you for mighty exploits.
Wow! we are such a blessed people. Our God is for us and not against us. The grace of  God surrounds us and He rejoices over us with singing.  Songs in the day and songs in the night.
May you find yourself in the present place in the call of God and walk free of the lusts of the flesh and hunger after more of the Holy Spirit. If God be for us who can be against us.

Stay strong and be encouraged that you are in the plan and pupose of God as H shifts you into position and you bring glory to His name by living life full of Him, spilling over and overflowing wherever you go. Go for it.

Sustain.

Hello everyone. I am so sorry that I have been a bit slow in writting in the last while.
My time of ministry in Dulin was so special and the Holy spirit broke out in a tremendous way.

Ireland is a beautiful nation of people under the hand of God. In the 6years that I have been visiting Dublin and the surrounding area I can only but say Wow God because Dublin and the church and friends there have crept so deeply into my heart.  My cry before God for Ireland is the same as my cry before God for South Africa and that is for God to pour out His Holy Spirit.

This is such a awesome time to be alive and moving with what God is doing in the earth. Yes there is a great shaking and yet in the midst of the shaking the Holy Spirit is moving and the Church of the Living God is advancing and growing and the bride is getting herself ready.

Just  before leaving for Dublin several people prayed for me and gave me propetic words and scriptures of encouragement. one friend prayed that God would sustain in as I go. The next day I got a phone call from this same friend to say she thought it was such a simple pray but went to look in the dictionery what this word means and out of that God opened up this little word and Ican see its a huge word. Once we had finished our conversation I went to the word of god and the word sustain unfolded even more. 

To Hold Up. Ps 139v8 -10 If I ascend into heaven, You are there, If I make my bed in hell behold You are there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea even there Your hand shall lead me and Your right hand shall hold me.

To Keep From Fainting/ Falling. Is 40v30  Even youths shall faint and be weary and young men shall utterly fall but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

To Supply with Provision and Favour. Phil 4v18 Paul says "Indeed I have all and aound. I am full, having recieved from Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, a sweet smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice.

To Bare Up against enemy attack. Ps 8v1 Oh Lord our Lord how excellent is your name in all the earth You who set your glory above the heavens out of the mouth of babes and infants You have ordained strength because of Your enemies that You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

What a awesome God. He sustains us.

May we continue to walk in the sustaining love of God as we await His outpoured Glory to cover the earth at this time in history. He is God.

Jesus, the Light of the world.

Hello all you wonderful people out there.

Don't know about you, I love Jesus. He is the light of my life and the light of the world. Without Him we would all be in darkness. His faithfulness is from everlasting to everlasting. He is dependable, He never changes, He is consistent in all His ways.
He will never leave you, nor forsake you, His understanding no one can fathom, He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak, youth may get tired and weary and young men stumble and fall but those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

What promises from Jesus, the Light of the World.

Take hold of Him and His word today and start living a victorious life.

Maybe you are one of the people that received an invite from Johann Visagie from Every Nation Church in Dublin to attend a meeting on Thursday evening 3rd February @ 7.30pm. Its going to be wonderful to meet all of you.

I know Johan put a link for you to this blog and I'm glad you've dropped in to visit my page.

I'm counting the days till I get onto the plane now.
Its going to be a huge temperature change for me.
Its summer in Cape Town, South Africa and averaging about 30degs some days....and now to pack coats and jerseys for the 5 or 7 degs in Dublin boggles the mind and everyday I try convince myself it must be a mistake, surely I won't need all these warm clothes but its true, we are in summer and you are in winter.
May the days ahead of you be filled with the purposes of God and may you be dressed and equipped for the unfolding destiny of your life in God.

2011

Hi Everyone, so here we are at the beginning of a new year with many dreams and expectations.
Some are just relieved that they got through 2010 and are thinking things can only get better. Others have been looking at the bigger picture and are stretching into their 3, 5, 7 or 10year plan for life. Which ever side you are standing on our God is in control and He delights in blessing His children.

I googled 2011 prophecies, which I have never done in years past up until now and its rather sad to see all the doom and gloom words and predictions about the end of the world. Im so glad we have a Father who leads us into all truth, He says in Matthew 24v6, there will be wars and rumours of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such thing must happen but the end is still to come.

In John4v35 it says Do not say, there are still 4 month and then comes the harvest? Behold I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields for they are already white for harvest!

Matthew 24v36 say of that day and hour no one knows, no not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

We are called to work while it is yet day as the time will come when no man can work as the end will come and we are also encouraged that whatever our hand finds to do, do it with all our might.
Predictions of a terrible end only puts people into the place of paralysis and hinders us from running the race with endurance. Hebrews 12v1+2 says, Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

May 2011 be the year of personal adjustment with God. May we walk humbly before our God and may we preach the gospel to all men. Let us not get sidetracked with mans words but rather incline our ears to hear the Fathers command and be yeilded to His plan and purpose for our lives. The joy of the Lord is our strength and a merry heart is like medicine to the bones.

I pray Gods will for our lives and that we will know the joyful sound. He who has begun a good work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
